Service Description

Join a small group of others who are in the early stages of writing their social science monographs. Curriculum for the group focuses on the genre of the academic monograph and academic publishing, theory chapter/core argument development, and an overview of the book proposal/prospectus. The emphasis is on theory/argument development, with a peer workshopping session for each participant at the end of the term. Group meets at a mutually convenient time for preregistered participants starting the week of Sept 10. We will be off one week before the term ends the week of Dec 18. THE DATE LISTED BELOW IS ONLY A PLACEHOLDER TO ALLOW REGISTRATION. Preregistered individuals' schedules (complete google form by 25 Aug) will be used to identify a permanent meeting time. Please provide a mailing address for invoicing - nothing will be sent there, but the IRS requires a physical address for sales of services to help combat money laundering. ::eye roll:: Fee is $250 for Faculty Group A and $300 for Faculty Group B. Rate categories are at http://www.leannecpowner.com/pages/rates.html (Link temporarily down; group B is salary > $100,000, major grant support, institutional funding for participation, tenured at a PhD-granting institution, or annually replenishing research funds >$5,000). IF YOU ARE IN GROUP A, your final registration will reflect the lower rate. The deposit is the same for all. Invoices and Zoom link will be send when class meets minimum enrollment.
