Service Description

The middle-stage dissertation group is intended for people who are at least one or two terms out from defense, but are beyond the initial data collection and starting phase. You should be solidly in the middle of your writing process, with a target defense semester in sight. We focus on strategies to organize materials and writing effectively, to write efficiently and effectively for long stretches, to establish reasonable expectations and self-care during this stage of work, to ask for and receive feedback, to use Word to format your dissertation, and other topics of use to those nearing the end of their graduate journey. Topic list will be customized to the specific needs of participants in this instance of the course. Runs Sept 12-Dec 20, with one week off.
